Goldfish are native to East Asia and have a lifespan of 10-15 years.
They can be trained to perform tricks and are omnivorous, eating a variety of foods including flakes, pellets, and live or frozen foods.
They grow to a maximum length of about 40 cm, but most varieties stay small, around 20 cm in length.
