A person must be at least 35 years old to run for President of the United States.

In addition to the age requirement of 35 years old, the United States Constitution specifies that the person must be a natural-born citizen of the United States, a resident of the country for at least 14 years, and not have served more than two terms as President. These qualifications are outlined in Article II, Section 1 of the Constitution.
