Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay opened his first restaurant in London, UK.
Gordon Ramsay opened his first restaurant, called "Restaurant Gordon Ramsay", in 1998 in London's Chelsea neighborhood. The restaurant quickly gained acclaim for its innovative French cuisine and was awarded three Michelin stars in 2001, making Ramsay one of only four chefs in the UK to hold that distinction at the time. Since then, Ramsay has gone on to open numerous other restaurants around the world, including several in London, as well as in Dubai, Las Vegas, and Singapore. He has also become a well-known television personality, hosting several popular cooking shows, including "Hell's Kitchen" and "MasterChef".
