A system restore point is a snapshot of your computer's system files, certain program files, registry settings, and hardware drivers at a specific point in time. It allows you to revert some changes of your computer to an earlier state. System Restore point is used to reverse the system files, installed applications, Windows Registry and system settings. The system restore point only affects the Windows files. You can create a restore point manually or automatically when you install a new app, driver, or Windows update.
