The terms "stale fish" and "mule kick" are often used in snowboarding, a popular winter sport.
Stale fish is a trick during which the rider grabs the heel edge of the snowboard behind their back with their rear hand, while extending their front leg. Mule kick, on the other hand, is a trick where the rider kicks the back leg straight out behind them while grabbing the nose of the board with their front hand.
