A greater anchor area refers to a larger zone or space where a vessel can anchor safely. It is typically a designated area in bodies of water like harbors, bays, or rivers, where ships and boats can drop their anchor and stay in place. A greater anchor area is considered as such because it offers more space for vessels to anchor without interfering with each other or the surrounding environment. This larger space reduces the risk of collisions, allows for better maneuverability, and provides more secure holding for the vessels' anchors. Overall, a greater anchor area is a safer and more efficient option for anchoring compared to smaller, more congested areas.

A great anchor  area is a location  with favourable  conditions for anchoring a vessel , such as shelter from wind and waves , good holding ground and adequate  depth. A greater anchor  area offers added safety  , accessibility  and amenities  for beaters,  enhancing  their overall  experience.

In this context, "greater areas" refer to larger regions or neighborhoods that are made up of smaller, individual communities or neighborhoods. These areas are often anchored or centered around a larger, more well-known town or city. For example, North Massapequa, Massapequa Park, and East Massapequa are all smaller neighborhoods within the larger Massapequa area.
